Paradise

When you land in Honolulu you seriously feel like you're in the jungle. It's green in every direction you look and the air is hot and sticky. You feel like you're swimming just by trying to breathe. It's a weird idea that people here go to school and work every day and that driving next to the coast is the normal commute.
You are literally 15 minutes away from a beach where ever you are on the island. The mountains are green as can be and there are countless trees. On the highways, vines are draped on both sides and sunlight or rain trickles through.
This seems like the perfect place to run from all your problems. Just let the ocean wash them away as the tide recedes. Then real life catches up to you and it hits you harder than ever. You can't run from your problems, heartache or whatever they may be. They will catch you even in when you're hiding in some sandy cove. Eventually you need to face them head on and come what may. Choose your love and love your choice.
